Gardenline Folding Wheelbarrow Rolls Into Aldi

There’s a meme about how a person walks into an Aldi store to buy a loaf of bread, and they somehow walk out with a two-man tent, a chainsaw, and a trumpet. It’s an exaggerated example of the variety of unexpected things you might find at Aldi. In reality, I’ve found plenty of tents at Aldi, and the grocer even sold a chainsaw not long ago. I have yet to find a trumpet at Aldi.

Another product that might fall into the “things you don’t expect to find at Aldi” category is a wheelbarrow. Aldi is always up for novelty, though, and this spring, they are selling a wheelbarrow. A folding wheelbarrow, to be exact.

What We Know:

The Gardenline Folding Wheelbarrow (Product Code: 830908) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s sold out at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in stores on March 27th, 2024.

The Gardenline Folding Wheelbarrow cost $34.99 at the time of publication. Most other folding wheelbarrows I found on Amazon cost at least $80.

This is sold under the Gardenline brand. This does not refer to a specific company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on gardening products that it sources from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tried this wheelbarrow, so we don’t know how well it works, how sturdy it is, or how easily it folds. We also haven’t seen Aldi publish anything yet about whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads to give readers a place to talk about Aldi products.
