EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2025.
You might not always think of Aldi as a home improvement store, but you might be surprised at what you find in the middle aisle. Over the years, I’ve spotted everything from tools to lawn mowers to pressure washers. Another common home improvement store item I often spot at Aldi is flooring. Aldi sells a variety of rugs in all sizes for both indoors and outdoors at different times of the year.
Aldi also occasionally sells foam floor tiles. These can be an easy and quick fix to help define a room or add some color. They also make a floor more comfortable to walk or sit on, or they can cover up flaws on an existing floor surface.
Aldi is selling interlocking foam floor tiles in time for college move-in season. These might be just the thing to help make a dorm room look cozy and inviting. They’re also good for placing in a utility or laundry room, a mud room or entryway, an exercise room, or a playroom.
What We Know:

Easy Home Interlocking Foam Floor Tiles are an Aldi Find, which means they’re only in stores for a brief time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone until whenever Aldi might decide to sell them again. You can’t order them online from Aldi if they’re sold out at your local store.
These are scheduled to arrive in stores on July 30th, 2025.
In 2025, they’re available in bamboo (shown in this post), gray with white dots, lavender and cream, or tan and cream.

Easy Home Interlocking Foam Floor Tiles cost $14.99 in 2025. That’s up slightly from $12.99 in 2024.
Aldi has not shared much information about these in its online ad, other than that these are water resistant. We don’t know dimensions for the 2025 tiles, and we don’t know for certain how many tiles come in a package.
We do have some information from when Aldi previously sold these in 2024, though. Back then, these were sold as a pack of four tiles with finishing borders. At $12.99 per pack, that was about $3 per tile. Similar sets I found on Amazon typically contain smaller tiles that measure 12 inches square instead of 24 inches square like the Aldi ones. After factoring in the larger size of the Aldi floor tiles, the Aldi tiles looked like a better deal than many options elsewhere in 2024.
Here’s more information from Aldi from 2024:
- Provides a soft, cushioned surface
- Easy to assemble
- Expandable: use multiple sets to cover large areas
- Water resistant
- One pack includes four interlocking tiles with finishing borders
- Each tile measures 24″ by 24″

These are sold under the Easy Home brand, which is not a company. It’s the name Aldi puts on various home goods, which it may source from a variety of different suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried these floor tiles, so we don’t know how well they work or how durable or comfortable they are. Aldi also has not yet published information about how thick these tiles are. We write open threads to give readers a place to talk about Aldi products.
