The Simplified Trader Joe's Fearless Flyer

Trader Joe’s — which is Aldi’s cousin — publishes a thorough and entertaining Fearless Flyer around holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, and at other times of year, including in the summerlate summer, the back-to-school season, and fall.

But the Fearless Flyer can be a long read. What if all you want is a simple list of TJ’s upcoming products? We can help with that. Keep in mind that many of these are limited-time products, either during the season or while supplies last.

This is the Valentine’s Day 2024 version of the Fearless Flyer.

  • Trader Joe’s Avocado Ranch Salad Kit, $3.99 for 12.8 oz. Sold refrigerated. Features crisp greens, shredded green and red cabbage, carrots, grated cheddar, lightly salted corn chips, and a separate packet of Ranch dressing with buttermilk and avocados.
  • Trader Joe’s Green Goddess Salad, $5.99 for 9.75 oz. Sold refrigerated. Includes romaine lettuce, spinach, red cabbage, and carrots, bite-sized pieces of seasoned Blackened Chicken Thigh Meat, and a packet of crispy, puffed red rice to sprinkle on top. The Green Goddess ranch dressing is a blend of buttermilk, champagne vinegar, lemon, parsley, basil, green onion, and chives. Also includes a fresh lime wedge to squeeze over the top of the salad before serving.

Dairy and Dairy Alternatives:

  • Trader Joe’s Double Cream Brie, $7.99 per pound. Sold in random-weight wedges of around 8 ounces each.
  • Trader Joe’s Double Cream Gouda, $9.99 per pound. Sold in random-weight wedges of around 10 ounces each.
  • Trader Joe’s Icelandic Style Lowfat Skyr Yogurt, $1.19 for 5.3 oz. Sold refrigerated. Available in cherry, vanilla, or raspberry.

  • Trader Joe’s Perfectly Pickled Pups, $4.99 for 6.3 oz. Sold frozen. Features mini uncured beef franks infused with dill-pickle flavor using sea salt, sugar, onion, garlic, vinegar, and dill weed. The pickle-flavored Pups are coated in a corn flour-based batter and breadcrumbs seasoned with more pickle flavor. Great in the air fryer.
  • Trader Joe’s Roasted Hatch Chile & Jalapeño Cheese Dip, $4.99 for 10 oz. Features a base of sour cream, cream cheese, and cheddar, flavored with roasted hatch chiles and jalapeños. Serve with crackers, crostini, crudités, and more.

  • Trader Joe’s All Natural Shaved Beef Steak, $10.99 per pound. This comes from the cap of the rib eye for tenderness and flavor. Great for fajitas, soup, and Philly cheesesteak.

  • Trader Joe’s Aglio Olio Garlicky & Spicy Seasoning Blend, $2.49 for 1.7 oz. Inspired by a classic Neapolitan dish consisting of long pasta (often spaghetti) in a sauce of pantry staples, including olive oil, thinly sliced garlic, and chili flakes.   • Trader Joe’s Chocolate Almond Biscotti, $4.79 for 8 oz.
  • Trader Joe’s Chocolatey Dipping Kit, $3.99 for 8 oz. Contains a packet of milk chocolatey discs, a packet of dark chocolatey discs, and two styles of Valentine’s-themed sprinkles. Heat the discs in microwave-safe bowls until melty, stir, then dip candies, cookies, cake, fruit, and more.
