EDITOR’S NOTE: Read our full review of Aldi’s coconut milk ice cream here.
Within the past couple of years, Aldi has created a stir when it’s sold limited-time non-dairy ice cream alternatives. You may have picked up some of their oat milk ice cream or almond milk ice cream when they were in stores. The most recent frozen concoction for Aldi customers who are avoiding lactose is a line of coconut milk ice cream flavors.
Earth Grown Non Dairy Coconut Based Pints cost $2.99 for 1 pint (16 oz.). They are scheduled to hit stores the week of July 8th, 2020, and will only be around for a short time, until they sell out, which generally happens fairly fast with products like these.
The coconut pints are available in three flavors: chocolate peanut butter, mint chocolate chip, and raspberry cheesecake.
Besides being dairy free, these coconut pints are vegan. The Earth Grown product line is a brand that is exclusive to Aldi, and most products in this line are vegan, including various burgers, meatless meatballs, chickenless patties, and a ground beef substitute. The only exception that I’ve seen is with some meatless breakfast patties and links that contained egg.
Remember, if you want some of these coconut milk ice cream pints, I’d recommend getting to your store on the day they come out, or possibly earlier.
