If you have cats, you’re familiar with all the various supplies you need. Litter boxes. Litter. Dry food or canned food. Food and water bowls. Perhaps some cat toys or a plush bed or a cat condo, or even a cardboard cat playhouse.
I’ve found Aldi to be a hidden gem when it comes to pet supplies, including all kinds of products for cats. The discount grocery store rotates a little of everything into its famed middle aisle, and it seems like every few weeks Aldi is selling new pet gear for both cats and dogs.
Being fond of cats, I tend to keep an eye on what Aldi sells for my feline friends. They occasionally offer a cat scratching post.
What We Know:
The Heart to Tail Cat Scratch and Play Post (Product Code: 700672) cost $14.99 at the time of publication. That’s cheaper than most cat scratching posts on Amazon.
This cat scratching post is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, these will be gone until whenever Aldi may decide to bring them back. I previously saw Aldi sell this post for the same price of $14.99 in November of 2021 and for $12.99 in July of 2020. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products you can’t find at your local store.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this cat scratching post, so we don’t know how easy it is to assemble, how well it works, or how it holds up to cats. We write open threads to give readers an opportunity to share about their experiences with Aldi products.
