Crofton Insulated Stainless Steel Carafe Coming to Aldi

EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2025.

If you need a way to serve beverages, the middle aisle at Aldi can often come through for you. Over the years, we’ve spotted Aldi selling heated beverage dispensers, filtration pitchers, various coffee makers, and even knockoff Stanley tumblers.

One of the latest offerings to show up the discount grocer’s weekly ad is an insulated carafe. It’s being sold under the Crofton brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on some of its kitchen products, which it sources from different suppliers.

Here’s what we know about the carafe.

What We Know:

The Crofton Insulated Carafe is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets a single shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s sold out at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on December 24th, 2025.

It cost $14.99 in December of 2025, which is up from $12.99 when Aldi previously sold it in January of 2025. That’s still quite a bit less than other insulated carafes I found on Amazon.

The 2025 carafe is available in blue (pictured above) or brushed colors.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • Capacity: 2 quarts
  • Vacuum insulated design keeps drinks hot or cold
  • Leak-proof
  • Crafted with stainless steel
  • Use caution with hot liquids

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet purchased this carafe, so we don’t know how well it works or how good it is at keeping drinks hot. Aldi also has not published information about whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads like this one to give readers a place to talk about Aldi products.

  1. I’d love to see a review on this. I purchased it and I cannot figure out if the lid comes off or not the top. I tried to unscrew it but I don’t think the top comes off. How do I properly clean this if it’s such a narrow spout.

    1. I too bought recently and am having the same difficulty. Finally after struggling a while, I decided to use some very warm water to wash around outside-inside and was then able to loosen the handle. 🙂

  2. In response to the above question, the lid does come off but it’s EXTREMELY difficult. I even had my husband try and it wouldn’t budge. Finally I put on my rubber cleaning gloves to keep from slipping and twisted super hard and it finally came off.

  3. I bought a similar model about 5 years ago. It’s served our house well. We mostly use this during the holidays when we make a big pot of coffee.

The lid was tough to loosen the first time but I’ve learned to just tighten it a little bit.

The funniest part was we got into a bit of an argument over the name. Some folks wanted Kristen Karafe and others wanted Kirstin Karafe. Kirstin won. So the running joke is how much Kirstin looks forward to the holidays after she’s sat there the whole year.
