Look for the Heart to Tail Cat Window Bed at Aldi

The middle aisle at Aldi often rotates various pet supplies onto the shelves. I’ve bought everything from a cat tower to pet beds to treats for our own Aldi Reviewer Cat.
One of the most recent cat products to show up at Aldi is a window perch. It’s a bed that fastens to a window using suction cups. These are often good when you don’t have space for a large cat tower, but you still want to give your feline friend a comfy window view.
What We Know:
The Heart to Tail Cat Window Bed is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for a short time only. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores May 27th, 2026.
The Heart to Tail Cat Window Bed cost $14.99 in May of 2026. That’s the same price it cost in 2025. That’s cheaper than most similar cat window perches I found on Amazon.
Aldi recently overhauled its website and is not sharing details about upcoming Aldi Finds. However, here’s what we know from when Aldi sold the bed last year:
- Dimensions: 14.17 inches x 23.23 inches x 7.87 inches
- Available in gray or white
- Compact, window-mounted design takes up minimal space in the home.
- Easy assembly with removable bed for easy spot cleaning
- Instruction manual included, with no additional tools required
This is sold under the Heart to Tail brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on the various pet supplies it sells, which are sourced from different suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this cat window perch, so we don’t know how easily it sets up — or how well it sticks to a window. We also don’t know what kind of weight limit this has or whether it can accommodate heavier cats. We write open threads like this one to provide readers with a place to talk about Aldi products.

We are finding it a little confusing to put together the cat window perch. Idk why it’s soo difficult. Instructions are not thorough. And my 2 L pipes are not connecting together the way they should. Ugh!!!
I saw it in the store and decided to pass on it for several reasons. I’m not sure the suction cups are strong enough to hold the bed steady when a cat jumps on it. The box indicates it has a 20 pound limit which may be sufficient for most individual cats, but not enough for two.
I am very disappointed that my Aldi in Brooklyn didn’t even have the perch on the first day of the sale.
I was looking forward t buy it as a gift for my daughter’s cat in their new apartment.

I don’t like cats, but I don’t hate them enough to subject them to these dangerous things. Veterinarians constantly warn against using window perches with cats because they can sustain injury when the suction fails and they fall. It isn’t like a normal fall where the animal can anticipate the fall and make a quick landing. Resting means their muscles are in a relaxed state, whereas if the cat is aware it is falling it will tense muscles for impact for damage mitigation. If you care about your cat, don’t get one of these. Just put a cat tree beside a window.
I was given this as a gift for my senior cat. I found the instructions easy to follow; and fairly easy to put together! She gave me two of them (one for upstairs, one for downstairs. One did not have the hardware, and when I put the support polls together, they were wonky; so it was a wash. I followed the instructions and put her favorite toy up there. She appears to love it! A good buy; a good gift!
I bought one to try . Easy to put together and is very strong , holds all my cats which vary in shapes and weights . Went back for more and they were sold out at my store. Hunted every store in my area , no luck . I was ecstatic when I found one after 3 weeks , box was open but guaranteed all the parts were there . Tried to put it together and the L poles are the same so they don’t fit 😩Looked for a website only to see it’s an Aldi brand and they may or may not get more . I will write a letter and see about a response
We purchased one of these when we spotted it at our local store and both our cats really liked it. Unfortunately, it failed a few weeks ago – I heard a thunk from upstairs and went to investigate and found one cat curiously sniffing the now wonky perch and the other glaring at it as it had just dumped him from a cozy sleep. One of the suction cups had sheered off so it is now completely unusable. As they really did like it, I plan to purchase the more secure variety that hooks onto the window sill and has a lower support that fits against the wall.
Has anyone tried to wash the bed?
