Mama Cozzi’s BBQ Recipe Pork Burnt Ends Pizza
We’re always up for trying unique pizzas from Aldi, whether it’s a mac and cheese pizza, a queso pizza, or a jalapeno popper pizza.
The most recent novel pizza to show up at Aldi is a pork burnt ends pizza. The package describes this as “mozzarella & cheddar cheeses, seasoned and seared pork, and red & green onion with BBQ sauce on a wood-fired style crust.”
Mama Cozzi’s BBQ Recipe Pork Burnt Ends Pizza is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment. After that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later, possibly not until next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.
This was scheduled to arrive in stores the week of May 13th, 2026.
I paid $7.99 for this 21.4-ounce pizza in 2026. That’s about 37 cents per ounce. We buy Aldi products for review using our own money.

Heating Instructions:
The package has directions for cooking this in a conventional oven or on a grill.
To bake, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Remove the pizza from the packaging. Place the pizza directly on the center rack in the oven. Do not bake the pizza on the cardboard tray it’s packaged with. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the cheese in the center is melted and crust is golden. Carefully remove the pizza from the oven. Let it cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing and serving.
To grill, preheat the grill to 400 degrees or medium heat. Remove the pizza from the packaging. Open the grill and place the pizza onto the preheated surface away from direct heat/flame. Close the lid to maintain temperature. Cook for 14-16 minutes or until the cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Open the lid and carefully remove the pizza from the grill. Let the pizza rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and serving.
The grilling instructions also offer some “pro tips.” Rotate the pizza halfway through cooking if your grill has hot spots. Avoid opening the lid often to maintain temperature. Open lid vents to release moisture and produce a crispier crust.
How it Tastes:

I baked this pizza, and it was done after about 15 minutes. My family liked this, and I thought it was okay. It doesn’t have much cheese. The crust seems like it’s mostly topped with barbecue sauce with a decent amount of pork. There are also some bits of diced onion scattered throughout.
If I bought this again, I’d add extra cheese to it before baking, and that would probably transform it from an all right pizza to a pretty good pizza.
The Verdict:
Mama Cozzi’s BBQ Recipe Pork Burnt Ends Pizza features pork, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and green and red onions on a barbecue sauce-covered crust. This is a good pizza, but we think it could be better with the addition of extra cheese.
