Open Thread: Ambiano 7-Quart Slow Cooker

Every year just before Thanksgiving, Aldi rolls out an array of kitchen gadgets and cooking-related products in time for the big holiday meal season. That includes slow cookers.

What We Know:

The Ambiano 7-Quart Slow Cooker (product code 56829) was $19.99 in 2019.

Aldi also sold the Ambiano 7-Quart Slow Cooker for $19.99 in 2018 and for $16.99 in 2017.

In addition, Aldi has sold other sizes and models of slow cookers at various prices over the years, including an Ambiano 5.8 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker for $24.99, an Ambiano 3.5-Quart Casserole Slow Cooker for $24.99, and an Ambiano 4-Quart Slow Cooker for $14.99.

The 2019 Ambiano 7-Quart Slow Cooker’s features include:

• Three heat settings (low, high, warm)
• Removable ceramic crock
• Vented glass lid
• Cool-touch handles
• Built-in cord storage
• Fits up to a 7-pound roast
• Comes in Stainless Steel or Black

The 2018 7-Quart Slow Cooker came with a three-year warranty serviced by Wachsmuth & Krogmann. We don’t yet know if the 2019 slow cooker comes with a warranty.

The slow cooker is a limited-time ALDI Find, which means it’s in stores for just a short time, and once it’s gone you’ll have to wait until next year to get it again.

What We Don’t Know:

We have not used the Ambiano 7-Quart Slow Cooker, so we don’t know how well it works. We also don’t know what kind of warranty it comes with.
