Ambiano Triple Slow Cooker

EDITOR’S NOTE: We initially wrote this as an open thread. In 2026, we purchased the triple slow cooker and put it through a full review.

If you’re serving food to a crowd, you may need some ways to cook multiple dishes, and you’ll want to be able to keep hot foods hot. A slow cooker or Crock Pot can do the job in many cases. Slow cookers come in various sizes, and if you have enough electrical outlets or a power strip, you can plug in multiple slow cookers along a kitchen counter or tabletop. Aldi sells slow cookers sometimes, including a 7-quart model that we’ve owned for several years, as well as a 2-quart model.

For a few years now, Aldi has sometimes sold a different kind of slow cooker that can cook three separate dishes at the same time and keep them warm. If you’re planning a party or gathering, or if you simply have a large family, this triple slow cooker can help you out.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. The Ambiano Triple Slow Cooker cost $39.99 in January of 2026. That’s up from $34.99 in January of 2025. It also cost $34.99 in January of 2024, and it cost $39.99 in 2023 and in 2022. It’s a lower price than any triple slow cookers I spotted on Amazon.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi brings it back at some later time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for specials that are not in stock at your local store.

This was most recently scheduled to be at Aldi stores the week of January 28th, 2026.

Ambiano Triple Slow Cooker

As far as we can tell, Aldi did not sell a triple slow cooker like this prior to 2022, although Aldi did sell a multi-compartment buffet server with warming tray in 2019.

Here’s more information about the 2026 triple slow cooker, according to the box:

  • Available in beige or blue
  • Cook and serve three dishes at the same time at varying cooking times and temperatures
  • Features removable and dishwasher-safe stoneware cooking pots with glass lids
  • Includes three 1.5-quart pots
  • Features three separate temperature controls with low, high, and warm settings
  • Includes stainless steel lid rests to keep lids standing upright for easy serving

The slow cooker comes with a three-year warranty serviced by Sensio. Sensio — which recently renamed itself Made By Gather — focuses on kitchenware. Made By Gather’s other brands include Bella, Crux, and and Brim. Sensio is a common Aldi warranty service provider, and it’s been responsible for service to other Aldi products such as the Ambiano Rotating Belgian Waffle Maker, the Ambiano Mini Waffle Maker, and the Ambiano Electric Glass Kettle.

For warranty service, call 1-866-832-4843 or email info@sensiobrands.com.

The slow cooker is sold under the Ambiano brand. That’s not a company or manufacturer. Instead, it’s a name Aldi puts on various kitchen products it sells, which it sources from different suppliers.

Unboxing and Setting Up the Triple Slow Cooker:

Ambiano Triple Slow Cooker
The triple slow cooker comes with the electric base, three crocks, three lids, a user manual, a warranty info sheet, and three lid rests that fasten onto the back of the base.

When you open the package, you’ll find the large slow cooker base with the three pots and lids nestled in. There are also a user manual, a warranty information sheet, and three lid rests that must be inserted into the back of the slow cooker base. Setup is a cinch, as all you have to do is slide the lid rest prongs into holes on the base.

Once the lid rests are in place, you can hang a lid by its handle on the lid rest. It gets the lid out of the way for serving purposes, and any condensation drips back into the pot.

Using the Triple Slow Cooker:

If you’ve ever used a slow cooker before, this one is pretty intuitive.

However, there is one thing you’ll want to make sure you do: the manual says, “It is necessary to operate the Triple Slow Cooker one time before placing food in the cooking pot.” Pour 4 cups of water into each of the cooking pots. Then place each cooking pot inside the slow cooker base and put the lids on.

Then, plug in the base, turn each of the individual cooking dials to High, and heat for approximately 30 minutes. Then, turn the dials off, unplug the slow cooker, and allow to cool for at least 20 minutes. Wearing oven mitts, carefully pour the water out of the pots. Wash all three pots and lids in the dishwasher or in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly and reinsert into the base to store.

Once you’ve done that initial run with the slow cooker, you’re ready to cook.

Each of the three pots work independently of one another, and you can use one, two, or all three at the same time. To facilitate serving, the manual recommends inserting each cooking pot with the spoon notch facing front and to the side.

The manual also recommends not overfilling the cooking pots. Do not fill them more than 3/4 full with food.

When it’s time to clean the slow cooker, the manual says the cooking pots and glass lids can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Or, you can wash them by hand in warm, soapy water.

The manual also includes two recipes. One is for orange chicken with asparagus and carrots. The other is for mushroomy beef stroganoff. Ironically, I don’t think either of these recipes would fit in these small 1.5-quart slow cooker pots. The recipes appear to be for a larger slow cooker that can fit 2 pounds of chicken thighs or a 2-pound beef top round, plus broth and various veggies.

Our Thoughts:

So far, I’ve used this triple slow cooker when I hosted a birthday party and served a nacho/taco salad bar. I heated two jars of Aldi queso in one pot, two cans of black beans in another pot, and two cans of refried beans in the third pot. That filled all of the pots to around 3/4 full, which is the maximum amount recommended by the manual. (I meant to take a picture of the slow cooker in use, but I forgot to do so while I was in hosting mode. I’ll try to add a photo to this post next time I use the slow cooker.)

The knobs don’t click into each position (low, high, warm) as distinctly as I might prefer, so you may want to be careful when setting the temperature to make sure you have it on the setting you want. My nacho toppings were plenty hot after about two and a half to three hours on the high setting, just in time for our party. The black beans dried out a bit after a while, so I’ll add a little liquid next time.

This slow cooker put off a strong chemical smell when I initially used it to heat water, per the user manual. It also still had a strong smell when I put the queso and beans in it, although the smell eventually dissipated as whatever manufacturing residue there was in the base burned off.

Aside from the smell the first few times I’ve used this slow cooker, I like it. At 1.5 quarts for each pot, this doesn’t make a lot of food in any individual pot, so it might not be great for, say, a graduation party or other large event. For a birthday party where I was feeding about 10 people, it was perfect, and I had leftovers in each pot. I probably could have served my nacho bar to up to 15 people with what fit into the pots.

I also got some compliments from guests about the practicality of a triple slow cooker, and it just looks cool with the three pots in a row. The spoon notch built into each pot was also helpful for keeping utensils from falling into the pots.

One other consideration is that this is a large kitchen appliance, so you’ll need a space on the counter to put it when you’re cooking and serving food. You’ll also need a good place to store it when it’s not in use. I’ll be storing mine on some shelves in my basement alongside my waffle maker, canning equipment, and other less frequently used kitchen items.

The Verdict:

The Ambiano Triple Slow Cooker comes around about once a year at Aldi. It features three pots with individual control knobs, so you can cook each pot at different temperatures/times or keep food warm.

Each pot is only 1.5 quarts, so these are some of the smallest slow cooker pots we’ve seen, although the entire appliance takes up a fair amount of space on a counter. You can’t cook a whole roast in this. However, it’s good for multiple types of side dishes, spinach and artichoke dip, queso, or appetizers such as meatballs and cocktail sausages. For our test run of the triple slow cooker, we heated queso, black beans, and refried beans, and it worked well.

Do be aware it puts off a strong smell due to manufacturing residue the first few times you use it. The smell should eventually go away.

  1. I have one of these, and LOVE IT. The quality of it is as good as the two other “brand name” crockpots I own.

The lid holder is perfectly designed, letting the lid rest over the back edge of the pot, allowing condensation to drip back into the pot instead of on the counter. It also has a notch in the edge of the crock for a spoon handle, so the spoon can stay in the pot and still allow the lid to close. Little things like this are a very nice touch for such an affordable product.

We use this for entertaining a lot, and always are pleased with it. Friends who haven’t seen one like it are always impressed. For the Super Bowl, we will be breaking it out with queso, spinach/artichoke dip and spicy bbq meatballs. I can’t wait!!!

  2. YES! I have one and love it. Made just like the highbuck cookers. Love the triple action and each has its own cooking adjuster so don’t have to use all 3. Pots are made of wonderful ceramic and very heavy duty. My ALDIs flyer says it’s $34.99 not $23.99….? 😞. Still a great buy at $34.99.

  3. I bought this triple crockpot, and love it. There are just two of us, and it’s perfect.
I cooked a small spiral ham with brown sugar and pineapple in one pot; green beans with baby potatoes in another; and garlic spinach with cannellini beans in the other. All cooked at different temps, for different times. It all turned out beautifully.
