EDITOR’S NOTE: Aldi sold this quesadilla maker again in the fall of 2022 for $22.99.

Aldi is a solid place to buy supplies for taco night, whether you’re looking for fresh ingredients such as avocados, tomatoes, and cilantro or pantry staples such as flour tortillas, crunchy shells, and taco seasoning. The discount grocer also has a good selection of frozen Mexican-inspired items such as taquitos and burritos.

Occasionally, you can find non-food accessories for your taco night at Aldi as well. We love the taco holders we bought in the middle aisle this past year. Most recently, Aldi sold a gadget that you can use to make your own quesadillas with. Granted, I usually make quesadillas on a skillet on my stove top, but if you want a dedicated device for making quesadillas, Aldi’s got it, while supplies last.

What We Know:

Ambiano Quesadilla Maker

The Ambiano Quesadilla Maker (product code 11232) cost $16.99 at the time of publication. That’s a pretty competitive price compared to other models we’ve seen.

This Ambiano Quesadilla Maker is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for its specials after they sell out at local stores, so don’t hesitate if you want one. Aldi did sell a quesadilla maker for a lower price of $12.99 in August of 2019, so it’s possible Aldi might sell one again in the future, but only Aldi knows if or when that might happen.

This comes with a three-year warranty serviced by Tempo USA (also known as Customer Care USA). They have provided service on other Aldi products in the past, including the Ambiano Egg Cooker and the Ambiano Deep Fryer.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this quesadilla maker, so we aren’t sure how well it works or how it holds up. Our goal with open threads like this is to provide a space for people to share about their experiences with an Aldi product.
