In addition to selling an array of laundry detergents and fabric softeners to get your clothes clean, Aldi rotates various laundry-related products through its stores at different times during the year. We’re fans of Aldi’s clothes drying racks, laundry baskets, and laundry carts, for example. One product we haven’t tried but that we’ve seen in stores each year is the Easy Home Handheld Fabric Steamer.
The Easy Home Handheld Fabric Steamer is entirely different from the Easy Home Hand Held Steam Cleaner that is often in Aldi stores around the same time of year. The Hand Held Steam Cleaner purports to clean household surfaces, and we were not impressed when we reviewed it. The Handheld Fabric Steamer, on the other hand, is for use exclusively on fabrics. This post deals with the Hand Held Fabric Steamer.
What We Know:
The 2020 fabric steamer.
The Easy Home Handheld Fabric Steamer (product code 44614) sold for $19.99 in February of 2023. It went for $14.99 in February of 2020. It sold for $14.99 in 2019, and it sold for just $12.99 in 2018.
The steamer is an ALDI Find (Special Buy), which means it’s only in stores for a short time and then it’s gone until the next year. Each store receives one shipment, and once that sells out, they’re gone until the next time Aldi decides to stock them. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering for products that aren’t at your local store.
Aldi also sometimes sells a different, larger, more expensive upright fabric steamer: the Easy Home Upright Fabric Steamer, which cost $39.99 in August of 2019.
Going back to the Easy Home Handheld Fabric Steamer, features for the 2023 model include:
- Removes wrinkles, stains, and odors
- Ready to use in 30 seconds
- 6.6-oz. detachable water tank
- Includes steam and lint brush, creaser, and measuring cup
- 9.8′ cord length
- Available in Blue or Pink

The 2019 fabric steamer came with a three-year warranty, and we assume current models come with a similar warranty, but since we haven’t gotten our hands on one yet, we can’t say for sure.
What We Don’t Know:
We have not used the Easy Home Handheld Fabric Steamer, so we don’t know how well it works. We also don’t know what kind of warranty the 2020 model may come with.
