We Went Looking For the Belavi Fire Pit. We Couldn’t Find It. (Again.)

EDITOR’S NOTE: We finally found this fire pit at Aldi. You can read our full review here

Belavi 30" Outdoor Fire Pit

The last two years — 2020 and 2021 — Aldi has sold a fire pit. In 2020 it was called the Gardenline 30″ Outdoor Fire Bowl, while in 2021 it was called the Belavi 30″ Outdoor Fire Pit. The two appear pretty much identical, other than the fact that the 2021 version is $10 more expensive — $59.99, as opposed to $49.99 — and the 2021 model sports the new Belavi label Aldi has recently taken to using.

Our plan in 2020 was to buy it and review it, but we couldn’t find it. That wasn’t a huge surprise, given the world as it was in the summer of 2020. We tried again in 2021 and again came up empty, possibly because of shipping delays, or possibly just because it was, once more, a really hot item.

Either way, we can’t review the bowl / pit because we can’t get our hands on it. Here, though, is what we know:

The fire pit (Product Code: 700733) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s (obviously) only in stores for a short time. It measures 30 inches x 30 inches x 20.68 inches, and is made of black powder-coated steel. It is 9 inches deep in the middle, and it uses a circular design. It also comes with a mesh screen and fire poker.

According to Aldi’s website, it is backed by a 2-year warranty, serviced by the GHP Group, makers of the Dyna-Glo line of grills. Aldi has sold a Range Master Charcoal Grill and Range Master Gas Grill made by GHP. Beyond that, we don’t know how well this pit works or how long it stands up to heat and to the elements.

If we manage to find one, you can be sure we’ll write about it.

  1. Our ALDI did not get many of the fire pits but we managed to snag one. Have not burned in it yet (it has been too rainy) but probably this weekend. I will say that it was challenging to assemble, perhaps a side effect of the $60 price point. We got to the last part of assembly and could not get holes matched up to save our lives. Luckily I had some screws in my toolbox that got it assembled till I have time to run to Lowe’s for some better fitting screws.

  2. Went to 3 different Aldi’s and no luck. Can’t spend any more time driving around looking for it. Disappointed.

  3. We have none in my area. Sadly. I certainly would have loved to enjoy and review this during our upcoming camping trip.
