Barissimo Delightfully Pure Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer
EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2026.
I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I drink multiple cups of tea daily.
While I used to drink tea with a small amount of honey added to it, these days I drink it unsweetened. Occasionally, I might add a splash of milk to give a smoother taste to a black tea such as English Breakfast or Earl Grey. If I’m feeling more indulgent, I add a little half and half cream or even heavy whipping cream to my black tea.
If I want a treat, I buy a bottle of refrigerated coffee creamer. Aldi sells several types of coffee creamers in various flavors and sizes. One type of creamer at Aldi that I consistently see readers mention as their favorite is the Delightfully Pure creamer under the Barisissimo Aldi house brand. (When I first reviewed this back in 2021, Delightfully Pure creamer was sold under the Friendly Farms Aldi house brand.)
Delightfully Pure creamer at Aldi comes in several flavors: vanilla, hazelnut, and sweet cream. I bought the sweet cream version.
Barissimo Delightfully Pure Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer cost $3.89 for a 32-ounce bottle in 2026, which comes out to about 12 cents per ounce. Back when we first wrote about it in 2021, it sold for $2.29 for a 16-ounce container, or about 14 cents per ounce.
This is a Regular Buy, which means it’s sold at Aldi all year. You’ll find it stocked in the refrigerator case near the milk, iced coffee, and other creamers.
Nutrition Facts and Ingredients:

Ingredients are: nonfat milk, cream, sugar, and natural flavor.
If you’re avoiding allergens, this contains milk. This is kosher.
There are about 63 one-tablespoon servings per container. One serving has 35 calories, 1.5 grams of total fat (2% DV), 1 gram of saturated fat (5% DV), 5 mg of sodium (0% DV), 5 grams of total carbohydrates (2% DV), 5 grams of total sugars, 4 grams of added sugars (8% DV), and no protein.
To use, simply shake the container well and pour your desired amount into your coffee or tea. This should be kept refrigerated and should be used within 14 days of opening. When unopened, this has a fairly long shelf life in the refrigerator, with the container I purchased in March of 2026 having a use-by date of August 11th, 2026.
Our Thoughts:
I’ve used this sweet cream coffee creamer in regular black tea, English Breakfast tea, and Earl Grey tea. It adds a smooth texture and slight sweet notes to my morning cup. On its own, this creamer is very sweet, so you might want to start by adding a small amount to your drink, then taste it, and add more if needed.
Some of our readers have mentioned they prefer the Delightfully Pure creamer line at Aldi because it has a shorter, simpler ingredients list. Some might take issue with the natural flavor in this creamer. If you want something with an even simpler ingredients list, the Simply Nature Organic Half and Half at Aldi is a good option, and that doesn’t contain added sugar like this creamer does.
My main complaint about this — and most other refrigerated creamers at Aldi and other grocery stores — is that it’s sold in a huge bottle but must be used up within 14 days after opening. I don’t like to use creamers like this daily because of the added sugar. Even in small amounts, the sugar adds up.
I froze the creamer into ice cube trays for later use because there is no way to use it all in the recommended 14 days. This froze into soft cubes that I had to pry out gently from my ice cube trays using a butter knife. I put the cubes in plastic freezer bags. The process is a bit messy. I haven’t yet tried thawing any of these cubes to put in my drinks, but I’ll update this post once I do.
That aside, I like the taste of this creamer, and it works well in tea, coffee, or however you want to serve it. This is a solid coffee creamer choice.
The Verdict:
Barissimo Delightfully Pure Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer has a creamy taste and mild sweet flavor. It’s good in coffee or tea. We wish it was sold in a smaller bottle, since it’s impossible to use it all within the recommended 14 days, and we end up having to portion it in ice cube trays and freeze it.

I love this creamer….but have not been able to find it in stores as of late. Someone said they no longer carry this brand ….it this true? and I wonder why? The sweet cream really froths up the best of all the ones I have tried at Aldi. I wish it will come back if truly gone.
They still have in Middle, Georgia
I am saddened that Aldis is no longer carrying this creamer.
They still do in Bradenton, Florida.
I’m a great fan of this creamer. I did buy the creamer in same flavor in other stores name brands, but found this taste awesome just right not overly powerful, at a good price for my budget. My personal go to.
Good idea to freeze it. I’ll try that and freeze in the amounts I’d use in a week in the mini mason jars I have. It would be pourable that way.
Oh, I like your idea of freezing in a pourable amount for the week. It was definitely a bit of a hassle freezing it in ice trays and then digging the cubes out from the trays.
