Friendly Farms Delightfully Pure Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but for years I’ve enjoyed a cup of tea almost every morning. Most of the time, I drink tea with nothing but a small amount of honey added to it. Occasionally, I might add a splash of milk to give a smoother taste to a black tea such as English Breakfast or Earl Grey. If I’m feeling more indulgent, I add a little half and half cream or even heavy whipping cream to my black tea. Of course, grocery stores also sell plenty of dedicated coffee creamer products, which I’ve discovered can turn certain types of tea into special treats.

Aldi sells several types of coffee creamers in various flavors and sizes. Today, I’m looking at this little container of sweet cream coffee creamer.

This is a Regular Buy, which means it’s sold at Aldi all year.

Ingredients are: nonfat milk, cream, sugar, and natural flavor. If you’re avoiding allergens, this contains milk.

There are about 32 one-tablespoon servings per container. One serving has 35 calories, 1.5 grams of total fat (2% DV), 1 gram of saturated fat (5% DV), 10 mg of cholesterol (3% DV), 5 mg of sodium (0% DV), 5 grams of total carbohydrates (2% DV), 5 grams of total sugars, 4 grams of added sugars (8% DV), and no protein.

To use, simply shake the container well and pour your desired amount into your coffee, or tea. This should be kept refrigerated and should be used within 14 days of opening. When unopened, this has a fairly long shelf life in the refrigerator, with the container I purchased in late August of 2021 having a sell-by date of February 1, 2022.

I’ve used this sweet cream coffee creamer in English Breakfast tea and Earl Grey tea, and it adds a smooth texture and slight sweet notes to my morning cup. On its own, this creamer is very sweet, so you might want to start by adding a small amount to your drink, then taste it, and add more if needed. As mentioned earlier, I tend to use this and other types of cream or coffee creamers only in black teas, as it helps to balance out the natural bitter notes. The choice is yours, but I wouldn’t recommend adding creamer to most herbal or fruit-based teas. Overall, this is a solid coffee creamer choice.

The Verdict:

Friendly Farms Delightfully Pure Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer has a creamy taste and mild sweet flavor. Good in coffee . . . or tea.

  1. I love this creamer….but have not been able to find it in stores as of late. Someone said they no longer carry this brand ….it this true? and I wonder why? The sweet cream really froths up the best of all the ones I have tried at Aldi. I wish it will come back if truly gone.

  2. I am saddened that Aldis is no longer carrying this creamer.

  3. They still do in Bradenton, Florida.
