Aldi is one of my favorite stores to buy gardening supplies and accessories from. Whether it’s planters or no-kink hoses, raspberry bushes or walk-in greenhouses, the discount grocer is a store that sells much more than just food.
In particular, if you want some shelving or stands for indoor or outdoor plants, Aldi sells several types of plant stands at different times of year. Earlier this spring, I bought a large ladder plant stand from Aldi that looks great in front of my living room window and holds most of my house plant collection.
Then more recently, Aldi sold an array of smaller metal plant stands in different styles. Aldi has been selling these stands every spring for several years under its Gardenline private label, but this year the stands are under Aldi’s new Belavi label. I bought one design a couple of years ago that came with two small square stands, and this year I picked up yet another one. My latest plant stand is a triangular one that fits into a corner.
The Belavi Tiered Corner Plant Stand (product code 99796), and other designs sold at the same time, cost $14.99 each at the time of publication.
The plant stands are Aldi Finds, which means they’re only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for its specials, so once these sell out at your local store, they’re gone until next year.
All of these stands are made from powder-coated metal, assemble easily, and can be used indoors or outdoors on balconies, in gardens, or on terraces.
This specific Tiered Corner Plant Stand measures approximately 25.6 inches tall and is 9.3 inches by 9.3 inches wide. The maximum weight per shelf is 11 pounds. It was made in China, and, naturally, plants are not included.
No tools are required to assemble this stand. You simply unpack it from the flat box it’s sold in, unfold it, and set the two shelves into some metal hooks on one side. The stand can also easily fold back up for storage or transport.
I’m not sure where I’ll put this stand long term, but for now it’s in a corner on my back patio. I have some potted calla lilies (not purchased at Aldi) on it along with a fox garden figure I also bought at Aldi this week. It’s a small stand, just a little above two feet tall, and it doesn’t hold pots with a large diameter. Still, if you have a small corner that needs a little brightening, this might do the job. I’m glad I picked up this stand.
The Belavi Tiered Corner Plant Stand stands just above two feet tall and is perfect for holding small potted plants. It’s on the small side, but it still adds interest to any spot you place it in.
