EDITOR’S NOTE: We bought this scale as soon as it arrived in our local stores, and you can read our full review here

When I was growing up, and now as an adult, there’s always been a standard scale in the bathroom that can determine weight. While scales can be a polarizing subject, I’ve personally found it informative to step on one occasionally.

These days, you can find scales do a bit more than just tell your weight. There are also scales that analyze body fat, muscle mass, and water content. Aldi sometimes sells such a scale, and it’s coming back to stores just in time for New Year’s resolutions.

What We Know:

Crane Body Fat Scale

The Crane Body Fat Scale in black.

The Crane Body Fat Scale (Product Code: 829413) is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone until next year, if Aldi decides to bring it back. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s sold out at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on December 27th, 2023.

The Crane Body Fat Scale cost $9.99 in December of 2023. That’s $5 less than the $14.99 Aldi sold it for in December of 2022. This is another example I’ve seen of Aldi lowering prices on Aldi Finds in 2023. That’s also cheaper than all the other body fat scales I found on Amazon.

Here’s more information on the Aldi body fat scale:

  • Available in two colors: black or white
  • Analyzes body fat, muscle mass, and water content

The 2022 Crane Body Fat Scale did not come with any kind of warranty, but it lists Protel as an after-sales service provider of some sort. Protel is a common Aldi warranty service provider.

This is sold under the Crane brand, which is not a company. Instead, Crane is the private label Aldi uses for various fitness and sports products such as hover ball, adjustable kettlebells, badminton sets, and more.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t purchased this scale, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We write open threads so readers have a place to discuss Aldi products.
