EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2023.

While you may not necessarily think of Aldi first when you think of personal care products, the grocer can be a good place to find everything from lighted vanity mirrors to massaging heat wraps to rechargeable shavers to haircut kits.

Aldi also occasionally sells hair accessories such as electric hair straightening brushes, or most recently we spotted a hot air brush in the weekly Aldi ad. This handy device both volumizes and dries your hair as you brush it.

This hot air brush is sold under the Visage brand, which is not a separate company but is the private label Aldi uses for various personal care products. Other products we’ve seen at Aldi under the Visage brand include rotary shavers, bathroom scales, and makeup mirrors.

What We Know:

Visage Hot Air Brush

The 2022 model.

The Visage Hot Air Brush (Product Code: 705370) cost $19.99 in October of 2023. That’s $5 less than the $24.99 it cost in October of 2022. That’s also less than most other hot air brushes on Amazon, with many brands such as Revlon costing upward of $30 and going all the way up to $50, depending on the brand and accessories included. We found a few hot air brushes in the $20 to $26 range at the time of publication, but they were less common.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back at some point. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.

  • Offers cool touch tip

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried the Visage Hot Air Brush, so we don’t know how well it works or how it holds up to regular use. We write open threads so readers can share about their experiences with Aldi products.

  1. I scored this discounted for $6 at Aldi last week and it’s amazing! I got the softest blowout with this tool. My hair felt healthy. It has a cool air option, and using that as a finisher was perfect. I wouldn’t have bought it for $24 to try it, but it’s worth it!

  2. I received a Visage Hot Air Brush 705370 as a Christmas gift. It did do a nice job on my hair, but the handle is so large I had a hard time holding it and often used both of my hands which was not comfortable. I wish I would have seen the one that was at Aldi’s in August…it looks smaller. Not sure why it is designed for such large hands. I am an average size and I will try it again, but I may end up taking it back.

  3. It’s tricky to use at the beginning but you do get used to the forward and reverse buttons, which control the direction of the roller brush. Nice and hot, with three settings it is quite effective at straightening my curly/ frizzy hair and is a big improvement on trying to dry and straighten with two hands..never really found other similiar products successful. My only concern is how long the motor will last on the rolling brush function… but its cheap enough to buy another perhaps as a back up?
