If you’ve got little ones who like to pretend to cook, serve food, and go grocery shopping, Aldi has offered some cool deals this past year. As we head into the early holiday shopping season, Aldi has more fun play food-related toys coming.

In the spring of 2022, the grocer sold a market play set under its Bee Happy private label that looked like a miniature version of a real Aldi store complete with checkout lane and cash register. They sold the mini market alongside a few different play grocery sets that included food, play money, a working calculator, shopping bags and baskets, a wallet, and more.

Then in the summer of 2022, Aldi sold a name-brand Step2 play kitchen with an Aldi-exclusive color scheme. Based on the number of people who visit our site to read about that play kitchen, we’re guessing it’s a popular item.

Now, Aldi is offering some wooden play food sets with various themes such as tacos, cake, burgers, etc. for even more kitchen and market fun. Wooden food sets under name brands such as Melissa & Doug have been well-liked for years due to their durability and more eco-friendly materials.

These play food sets are sold under the Aldi Bee Happy private label, which is not a separate company but rather a house brand Aldi uses for a variety of toys and children’s products. Other products we’ve seen recently at Aldi under the Bee Happy label include plush masks, magnetic tiles, swurfboard swings, pogo jumpers, and activity tables.

These are Aldi Finds, so they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back another time. Aldi doesn’t have online ordering for products that are out of stock at your local store.
