Season’s Choice Hot Honey Carrots
Aldi has been rolling out some interesting limited-edition spicy foods lately. Within the past few weeks, I’ve seen hot honey macaroni and cheese, jalapeno popper pizza, and now … hot honey carrots.
Season’s Choice Hot Honey Carrots are an Aldi Find, which means they’re in stores for only a short time. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if these are out of stock at your local store. These were scheduled to be available starting September 3rd, 2025.
As is the case with all product reviews on Aldi Reviewer, we bought these with our own money. I paid $2.99 for a 12-ounce package in 2025. That comes out to about 25 cents per ounce.
These are a product of Belgium.

If you’re looking out for allergens, these may contain mollusk and crustacean shellfish, milk, wheat, egg, fish, sesame, soy, and tree nuts.
The full ingredients list is grilled carrot, grilled yellow carrot, water, rapeseed oil, balsamic vinegar (wine vinegar, grape must), honey, parsley, salt, rice starch, crushed chili, garlic powder, and black pepper.
One package has about three 9-piece, 110-gram servings. According to the nutrition facts label, one serving has 110 calories, 5 grams of total fat (6% DV), 1 gram of saturated fat (5% DV), 270 mg of sodium (12% DV), 14 grams of total carbohydrates (5% DV), 5 grams of dietary fiber (18% DV), 8 grams of total sugars, no added sugars (do be aware that this contains honey), and 1 gram of protein.
The package has directions for cooking the carrots in an air fryer or in a conventional oven.
To air fry, place frozen carrots in the air fryer and heat for 9-11 minutes at 375 degrees, turning halfway through heating.
To bake, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place frozen carrots in one layer on a tray with parchment paper. Bake for 18-20 minutes, turning halfway through heating.

I opted to cook these in my air fryer. These taste medium spicy, without much sweetness other than the natural sweetness in the carrots themselves. We ultimately didn’t care much for these because the carrots were tough. Many of the carrots were fibrous and hard to bite into.
The Verdict:
Season’s Choice Hot Honey Carrots are the latest in a parade of spicy foods that have shown up at Aldi as limited-time finds. These are moderately spicy and not that sweet beyond the usual sweetness of carrots, despite the fact that these feature honey in the ingredients list. Also, the carrots are tough, so we won’t be buying these again.

It’s weird that there is so much potential allergen cross contamination. What does that say about all the other products in this line?
It is a lot of potential allergens. An important thing to know is that Season’s Choice is not a company. It’s simply the name Aldi puts on various frozen veggies it sells, which it sources from different suppliers. Basically, we don’t know exactly what company made this particular product.
