EDITOR’S NOTE: Aldi sold a churro maker again in the fall of 2022 for $22.99. The 2022 model appears to be sold in black while the 2021 model was white.
Aldi is a great place to stock up on familiar basics such as canned goods, baking supplies, and frozen foods. It’s also a place that can surprise you sometimes. Literally anything can show up in the middle aisle, from ottomans to Adirondack chairs to sewing machines. Or even a churro maker.
Churros are a dessert consisting of fried dough, usually sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, that hail from Spain and Portugal. They’re also popular in Latin America. You can purchase churros at certain restaurants, or you might be able to find frozen churros at some grocery stores. Now, for a short time, Aldi is selling a gadget that will let you make your own churros in your home kitchen.
What We Know:
The Ambiano Churro Maker (product code 11232) cost $16.99 at the time of publication.
It’s an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for its specials after they sell out at your local store, so if you want one, don’t delay. We also saw Aldi sell a churro maker for a lower price of $12.99 in August of 2019, so it’s possible Aldi might bring this back again at some point in the future.
The Aldi Ambiano Churro Maker looks a lot like this StarBlue Churro Maker that currently goes for $29.99 on Amazon. It’s not clear if the Aldi churro maker comes with a recipe book like the StarBlue one has. I would expect it to have at least a basic recipe, but since we haven’t had a chance to try this device, I’m not sure.

The Aldi website indicates this has a three-year warranty serviced by Tempo USA (or Customer Care USA) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Tempo USA is a common Aldi warranty provider, offering service on products including the Ambiano Egg Cooker and the Ambiano Deep Fryer.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried the Ambiano Churro Maker, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. Our goal with open thread posts like this is to offer a space for people to share about their experiences with a product.

They didnt have any shipped to the local store so we werent able to get them. They arent orderable online. Very disappointing
