Emporium Selection Everything Goat’s Milk Cheese

Aldi is known for having a large and varied selection of gourmet cheeses. I like their Not Your Average Cheddar, and my kids love the gouda cubes. You also can’t go wrong with the Aldi seasonal mozzarella in marinade.

If you want something a little different in the cheese department, Aldi sells a few varieties of goat cheese. You can find plain or honey goat cheese logs, blueberry vanilla flavored goat cheese, or a goat cheddar, to name a few.

I recently picked up an everything goat cheese log from Aldi to try at home. I love everything bagel seasoning and use it on everything from avocado toast to baked chicken breasts, so I was curious to see how the everything goat cheese tasted.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $4.49 for a 6-ounce log of Emporium Selection Everything Goat’s Milk Cheese in 2026. That comes out to about 75 cents per ounce. One package has six servings, which is also 75 cents per serving.

This is a Regular Buy, so you should be able to find it at Aldi all year. It’s stocked in the refrigerated aisle near the other cheeses.

Emporium Selection is not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on the gourmet cheese it sells, which it sources from various suppliers.

This cheese is a product of Canada.

This had a best-by date of about three weeks out from my date of purchase.

I’ve tried a blueberry vanilla goat cheese from Trader Joe’s, so I am familiar with goat cheese. This has the classic smooth, creamy consistency of goat cheese.

However, my family and I don’t care for the seasoning in this cheese. It’s very strong. In fact, it’s so strong it made our mouths pucker when we tasted it. I’m not sure if it’s onions or garlic, or something else. If you do opt to try this cheese, I’d recommend serving it with crackers or something to help balance the strong flavors.

The Verdict:

Emporium Selection Everything Goat’s Milk Cheese features everything bagel seasoning with onion, garlic, bell peppers, and poppy seeds. We typically love this kind of seasoning, but we felt like this cheese was too strongly flavored. Personal preferences may vary, but we won’t be buying this one again.
