Party Pack Patties Seasoned Beef Patties

EDITOR’S NOTE: This review is from May of 2025. Aldi sold these exact same burgers again the week of July 9th, 2025, for the same price of $15.99 for a 96-ounce box of 24 patties. 

Cookout season is kicking off, and it shows at Aldi. The grocer recently began stocking its spring and summer Seasonal Products, including barbecue sauces, potato salad, chicken patties for the grill, and more.

Of course, it wouldn’t be grilling season without burgers. In 2024, Aldi sold a limited-edition big box of inexpensive restaurant-style beef burger patties. With 24 patties per box, it was a great option if you needed to grill for a crowd. Or, a single box could last quite a while tucked away in your deep freezer at home.

In the spring of 2025, Aldi is selling another, different bulk box of beef burgers. Let’s take a look.

Party Pack Patties Seasoned Beef Patties are an Aldi Find, which means they’re in stores for a short time only. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering if these are out of stock at your local store.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $15.99 for a 6-pound box containing 24 burgers at my local Aldi in 2025. That’s around 67 cents per burger. That’s up slightly from the $14.99 I paid for the similar 24-pack of burgers Aldi sold in 2024.

Ingredients are beef, water, and seasoning (spices including mustard and encapsulated salt).

One of these patties (113 grams) has 240 calories, 29 grams of total fat (37% DV), 12 grams of saturated fat (60% DV), 2 grams of trans fat, 280 mg of sodium (12% DV), and no total carbohydrates, dietary fiber, or sugars. One patty has 17 grams of protein.

(For comparison, a single 113-gram 75% lean 25% fat frozen beef burger that Aldi sells all the time as a Regular Buy has 28 grams of total fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat, and 75 mg of sodium.)

The box says these are ready to cook, with no defrosting or thawing necessary.

You can cook these in a skillet on the stove, on an outdoor grill, or in a broiler. However you cook these, the internal temperature should be 160 degrees.

To cook in a skillet, place a frozen patty in a preheated skillet and cook one side until juices come through. Turn the patty and continue cooking the second side until done.

To grill, cook a frozen patty on the grill over white-hot coals on the first side until juices come through. Turn the patty and continue cooking the second side until done.

To broil, cook a frozen patty in a preheated broiler on the first side until brown. Turn and cook the second side until done.

It’s easy to pull the number of raw burgers you want from the large box. They’re all stacked in the box and aren’t stuck together. We cooked these on our outdoor gas grill, with a few flareups due to their fat content. I served them on some whole wheat buns (not from Aldi) with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, red onion, and Trader Joes’ Magnifisauce.

The burger is thin and didn’t cover the whole bun, although I haven’t bought these particular whole wheat buns before, so I’m not sure if the burgers are small or the buns are just large. I’ll update this post after I’ve tried more of these burgers with other buns.

The burgers themselves taste fine. They’re not gourmet, but they’re all right for an easy dinner or if you’re serving a crowd.

I don’t make a habit of buying beef burgers much anymore, mostly for health reasons. Instead, we make homemade turkey burgers when we’re craving burgers. I’m glad we tried these beef patties, though.

The Verdict:

Party Pack Patties Seasoned Beef Patties contain beef, water, and seasonings. The box has 24 patties, so, as the name suggests, these are good for parties. The patties have a fair amount of fat that might cause some grill flareups. They taste decent but might be a little on the small side after they cook up. Overall, though, they’re not bad if you need a bulk box of inexpensive burgers.
