EDITOR’S NOTE: Aldi sold a 7-wick candle again in November of 2022. That candle cost $19.99 ($5 less than the candle sold in January of 2022). It came in Gold (Clementine & Clove) or Silver (Salted Sage & Oakmoss).
Aldi is famous for its candles. Available in an ever-changing and limitless variety of scents throughout the year, Aldi Huntington Home 3-Wick Candles are a mainstay among the discount grocery store’s fan favorites. Aldi sells candles for every season, ranging from Advent calendar candles to Halloween candles and more. Aldi candles are such a popular item that when Aldi started its own Facebook group, they gave away limited-edition 3-wick candles as an incentive to get more people to join the group. And many Aldi fans like to reuse their Aldi candle jars for various purposes after they’ve burned them.
With that said, in January of 2022, Aldi sold a candle I’ve never seen them sell before. It’s giant, with not just three wicks. Instead, this candle has a whopping seven wicks. I can only imagine the amount of light this thing will put out.
What We Know:
The Huntington Home 7-Wick Large Candle cost $24.99 at the time of publication for a 49.25-ounce soy blend candle.
This is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Once it sells out, it’s gone, and Aldi won’t ship it to you.
As far as we can tell here at Aldi Reviewer, this is the first time Aldi has sold a candle like this.
This giant candle comes in two colors/scents:
- Gold, with a Juniper & Sage scent
- Silver, with a Vanilla Teakwood scent
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet gotten our hands on this huge candle, so we don’t know what it smells like or how well it burns. We also don’t know how many inches in diameter this candle measures. Our goal with open thread posts such as this one is to offer a space for readers to share about their experiences with a product.
Have you tried this candle? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
I was in our neighborhood Aldi’s just this past weekend, and I happen to have smelled the The gold candle (Juniper & Sage scent), and it smelled wonderful!! I’m just hoping that it’s still there when I get off work today, so i can take it home!! I fell in love with it!!!
Hope you were able to get one!

Today is Sunday, November 27th, 2022 and I found the gold Juniper & Sage Candle at my local Aldi!! It was $14.99 and I snagged it as it was the only one there!!! I am planning to use it to decorate my table for our women’s tea at church in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions on how to incorporate it?
I would like to know if Aldi will have the 7-wick candle in January 2023 and how will I be able to find out it and when it will be available. I wrote to Aldi but they need a Reference and/or Product code ,which of course I do not have
We don’t have insider knowledge about when Aldi will sell certain products, and we also don’t have product codes for most Aldi products. We do know Aldi recently sold a 7-wick candle in November of 2022, but only Aldi knows if or when it will bring those candles back. If they do come back, you’ll see them in the weekly Aldi ad.
I bought the silver candle and it exceeded expectations. For 20.00 it was well worth it. The smell was amazing. I loved the look of the gold but chose the silver because of the smell. It burned beautifully and evenly. It burned clean, no unpleasant odor or bi-product that makes me feel like I am choking. (BBW candles have). The unexpected joy was that the whole bowl lit up once it was burned down about 1/3 of the way. Looked like it was powered by electricity. It’s that nice. Hope they sell it again next year, I will buy again. Wish I could send a pic with review.
