Benton’s Graham Crackers

S’mores are a staple of camping trips, or of evenings spent around my family’s backyard fire pit. There’s something simple and satisfying about that combination of crispy graham crackers, melty chocolate, and gooey marshmallows.

You can buy all the components needed for s’mores from Aldi. That includes the graham crackers. And Aldi graham crackers are pretty good. They come in regular or cinnamon varieties. While the cinnamon is perfectly tasty on its own, my family prefers the regular graham crackers, which have a more neutral flavor for s’mores and other desserts such as pie crusts.

Benton’s Graham Crackers are a Regular Buy. That means you should be able to find them at Aldi all year.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $1.99 for a 14.4-ounce package in 2026. That comes out to about 14 cents per ounce. There are about 13 servings (two full cracker sheets make one serving) per box, which comes out to around 15 cents per serving.

These graham crackers always work well for whatever I make with them. They’re crispy, lightly sweet, and taste like … graham crackers.

Finally, there’s a recipe printed on the back of the box for S’mores Molten Cupcakes.

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat a 12-cup muffin pan with cooking spray. Place 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar in each cup, turning the pan to coat all sides of each cup.
  2. In a food processor, pulse graham crackers to a fine crumb. In a medium bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in the microwave. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and ground graham crackers. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Divide mixture evenly among the cups. Press down firmly.
  4. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/2 cup butter and semi-sweet morsels in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk the two whole eggs and the two egg yolks together. Add remaining sugar and flour, stirring until fully combined. Add the chocolate mixture, whisking continuously. Divide among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 7 minutes, or until the edges are just set. Turn the oven to broil.
  7. Add 7 marshmallows to each cup. Brown the edges under the broiler for 1 minute. Allow to cool slightly. Remove with a spoon and serve immediately.

The Verdict:

Benton’s Graham Crackers are our go-to when we want to make s’mores or other desserts. They’re also great as a snack on their own.
