Winter air tends to be dry, which can be rough on the nasal passages and skin. People are more likely to deal with dry noses and nosebleeds during the winter, along with dry or cracked skin. Not everyone can spend the colder months in Florida or other warmer, more humid locales. For those of us who have to stick around and tough out the cold weather, a humidifier can help restore some moisture to the air, as well as our bodies.
Aldi sells a steady assortment of humidifiers through the fall and winter months, and sometimes we spot them in the spring, too, especially when supply chain snarls cause delays in products arriving at stores. Most recently, Aldi sold an LED ultrasonic humidifier.
What We Know:
The 2022 model.
The Easy Home LED Ultrasonic Humidifier (Product Code: 810524 in 2022; Product Code: 830419 in 2024) cost $14.99 in January of 2024. That’s $2 less than the $16.99 it sold for in January of 2023. It cost $17.99 in March of 2022, and it cost $16.99 in 2021 and 2020.
This is an Aldi Find, so that means it’s only in stores for a limited time. You can’t order it online after it sells out at your local store. You’ll just have to wait to see if or when Aldi brings it back to stores.
Here’s more information about the 2024 humidifier, according to Aldi:
- Water tank: 1.3 L / 0.34 gal
- Maximum 16-hour operating time
- No filter required (previous year’s models did use a filter)
- Offers adjustable nebulizing power
- Features variable moisture control
- Includes auto shut-off when water tank is empty
- Includes aroma diffuser function
- Includes LED mood light in seven colors: violet, indigo blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange, and red
- Includes automatic color change
- Comes with LED mood light
- Tank has antibacterial properties
- Product dimensions: 6.50 x 6.50 x 8.27 inches
- Product net weight: 0.65 kg / 1.43 lbs.
Previous models have come with a two-year warranty serviced by Medion, a German-based electronics company that commonly provides warranty service for Aldi products. Aldi has not yet published information about whether the 2024 humidifier comes with a warranty.
What We Don’t Know:
We have not yet tried this humidifier, so we don’t know how well it works. We write open thread posts such as this one to provide space for readers to share about their experiences with products.

I just purchased this the other day for $13.49 but it’s not producing a visible mist. You can feel what’s coming out with your hand. Anyone else experience this or is this defective?
Add a pinch of salt and you’ll get a strong mist
I just bought this today and have a nice steady cool stream coming out. I also added the essential oil lavender and it smells amazing as it’s diffusing. I hope it continues!

One commenter below mentioned they called the phone number listed on the warranty card and they provided them with a new filter.
The one I just purchased is producing a large amount of mist. Smells great when using essential oil in it. I like that you can control moisture output. I hope it won’t be a hassle to replace the filter.
I love mine but I was using as a diffuser and the oils have ruined the water filter and I don’t see where I can buy a replacement part.
Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement filter? I’ve had mine for almost a year so I need to do that.
I’ve bought mine just recently (Jan. 2023) and called the Support Service Number provided on the Warranty Card. They will replace the filter up to 2 years with your Warranty Card number. Or, they can sell you one. I don’t know how much an individual filter costs.
I have this humidifier and while it works great, I need a new filter, the part that screws in with beads inside ut. I’ve tried repeatedly to get a filter from the manufacturer to no avail. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new filter?!
I have had mine for about two months now. The part that screws onto the tank and has the beads in it, is melting. Anyone else experienced this?

I like it puts out steam of noise like the Vicks one. T he filter broke the second time when try to take the filter out to it but water in it. It said to replace the filter every year but I can not find replacement filters. I can not use it without the filter to keep water in it. Would like to know where you get these filters.
Just bought 2 yesterday and the rooms that we put them in now have no power to the other outlets in the room. Not sure what the heck happened. Still working on. Getting power back to the affected rooms.
How to get the led color to change? I also can’t get it to turn off. The button makes it bright or dull, that’s it.
