Aldi Multi-Tier Buffet Servers are Perfect for Spring Entertaining

It’s always nice to have some fancier serving dishes and platters for special meals or events. Whether you’re hosting a holiday dinner or you’re planning a party with lots of sweets and snacks to nibble on, presentation matters. You don’t necessarily want to serve food on any old dish or tray.
Aldi can help you out when it comes to food presentation. The discount grocer sells various dishes, platters, trays, and even buffet servers at different times of the year. In the spring of 2022, we saw Aldi bring back an old favorite: a multi-tier buffet server that’s available in a couple of different styles.
Aldi buffet servers are perfect for serving any kind of finger food, from appetizers such as bacon-wrapped shrimp or lobster bites to desserts such as macarons, cheesecake bites, or cookies. These can make a great base for a charcuterie board, too, if you load them up with cheese, sliced meat, and crackers. Servers like these have both a practical function and can create an appealing centerpiece on a table.
What We Know:
The Crofton Multi-Tier Buffet Server (Product Code: 705483) cost $14.99 each in March of 2022. That’s a lot less than most similar servers on Amazon.
This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. You can’t order this online if it’s not in stock at your local store.
Here’s more information about the servers, according to Aldi:
- Choose 3-Tier or 2-Tier styles
- The 2-Tier style is available in Gold or Graphite
- The 3-Tier style is available in Gold or Silver
- Perfect for displaying appetizers or sweet treats
Servers like these tend to show up once in a while at Aldi, often during the winter holidays, but with Aldi, you never know when they might hit shelves. Aldi sold a 3-tier buffet server in 2020 and in 2019, both for the same price of $14.99 each.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t purchased these multi-tier buffet servers, so we don’t know how well they work or how durable they are. We write open threads about products we haven’t yet tried so readers can share about their own experiences with those products.
Do you own the Crofton Multi-Tier Buffet Servers? Tell us what you think of them in the comments below.
Just opened an Aldi find of a Crofton Buffet Server, two-tiered in graphite with two rectangular porcelain serving trays. I bought two buffet servers at the same time, the other was three tiered and circlular and appears fine. Sadly, the rectangular one is broken. The metal piece holding the stand is broken, does not screw in, not soldered together. It is impossible to use this server due to its substandard quality.
For future reference, I suggest opening products like this and checking them immediately. Any recourse? Refund? Too late?
Thx.
Definitely take it back to Aldi for a refund.
