Cozy Faux Sheepskin Rug Coming to Aldi

If you’re looking for floor coverings, you can’t go wrong taking a look in the middle aisle at Aldi to see what they may have in stock. While most people know Aldi as the place to buy peanut butter cups or take and bake pizzas or some pretty good takeout-style mandarin orange chicken, the discount retailer also sells quite a few home goods. I’ve bought my share of home décor at Aldi over the years, including seasonal signs, faux plants, a blanket ladder, and various throw rugs and doormats.

In fact, whenever I write about Aldi rugs here, I’ve been surprised at how much attention they garner. Aldi doesn’t always stock rugs, but in recent years, I’ve spotted washable rugs, three-piece decorative rug sets, indoor/outdoor area rugs, and shag rugs make their way through the store.

The most recent rug to show up at Aldi is a little different: a faux sheepskin rug.

What We Know:

The Huntington Home 24″ x 36″ Faux Sheepskin Rug (Product Code: 705850) cost $14.99 in February of 2024. That’s $5 less than the $19.99 it sold for in February of 2023. This is one of countless examples I’ve seen of Aldi lowering prices on Aldi Finds. That’s also on the lower range of prices for similar rugs on Amazon.

In 2024, the rug is available in White, Brown, or Beige. In 2023, it was available in White, Gray, or Beige.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s in stores for only a limited time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, this is gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some later point. You can’t get online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local Aldi.

This rug is sold under the Huntington Home brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for home goods such as lamps, floor dusters, coffee pod organizers, and more.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t purchased this faux sheepskin rug, so we don’t know how comfortable or soft it is or how durable it is. We write open threads to give readers a place to talk about their experiences with Aldi products.
