Aldi knocks it out of the park with certain products, and we all know it. Their take and bake pizzas rival takeout restaurants. Their peanut butter cups are quite possibly to die for. Their dupes of name-brand cookware like Caraway pans or Always Pans bring flocks of shoppers to stores. Air fryers and pressure cookers and vacuum cleaners also lure the crowds to the middle aisle.
But Aldi also sells a lot of quality stuff that’s underrated and that you don’t always hear people talking about. Their nutritious Graintastic bread, for instance. Or their great selection of salad kits. Or their budget-friendly laundry detergent. Or any number of small finds that rotate into the middle such as Swedish dish cloths, electric griddles, or duffle bags perfect for a weekend trip.
Area rugs are another thing that I see at Aldi from time to time. Buying a large rug can be pricey depending on where you shop, but Aldi sells affordable rugs in various sizes, colors, and prints. Some of them are washable. Some are for indoor or outdoor use. Some are even cozy faux sheepskin. I’ve owned a couple of Aldi rugs that lasted a decent amount of time. Readers on our site tend to like Aldi rugs, too.
The latest rug to show up at Aldi is a 5-foot by 7-foot area rug perfect for adding warmth and softness to a living room, dining room, office, or bedroom.
What We Know:
The Huntington Home 5′ x 7′ Area Rug (Product Code: 708265) is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a brief time. Each store gets one shipment of rugs, and after that sells out, they’re gone until whenever Aldi might decide to bring them back. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering for products that are not currently in stock at your local store.
These are scheduled to arrive in stores on March 20th, 2024.
The Huntington Home 5′ x 7′ Area Rug cost $39.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end of the price range for 5′ x 7′ area rugs on Amazon.
Here’s more information about the Aldi rug:
- Available in four designs
- Easy care
- For indoor/outdoor use
- Made of 100% polypropylene
- OEKO-TEX certified
These are sold under the Huntington Home brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for various home goods.
What We Don’t Know:
While we have purchased several Aldi rugs over the years, we haven’t purchased this specific one, so we don’t know how good it is or how it holds up to foot traffic. We write open threads to provide our readers with a space to discuss Aldi products.
